Q. What are your rates?

Visit our rates page to learn about pricing.

Q. Can any book be published under the LCP imprint?

Little Creek Press only publishes a limited number of titles under our imprint each year. We reserve the right to decline any material that may not represent the company's artistic and copy standards. At this time, Little Creek Press is not publishing any science-fiction, poetry, or romance. (Note: We do offer separate design services for all genres, see our rates page for cover and interior design pricing.)

Q. How long does it take to design a book cover?

Keep in mind that every project is different. Once we have all final materials and get your project on our schedule, it takes around two weeks for an initial cover proof.

Q. How long does it take to design a book cover and interior?

Keep in mind that every project is different. Once we have all final materials and get your project on our schedule it takes around 3-4 weeks for an initial cover and interior proof. If you have an anticipated release date we will work with you to complete your project on time.

Q. How long does it take to have a book published under the LCP imprint?

There are many factors that determine the time it takes to publish a book. These include whether the book needs an illustrator, how much editing the manuscript requires, how quickly we receive design feedback, the complexity of the interior layout, and whether the book will be printed with a hardcover of softcover. Contact us with details about your project and we can give you an estimated timeline.

Q. If someone else designed my book will LCP publish it under their imprint?

No. Little Creek Press will only publish books under our imprint that are designed in-house.

Q. Will LCP market my book?

We do not provide separate marketing services. Marketing is ultimately the author's responsibility.

Q. Are there any additional or hidden fees?

No. Before beginning any project, each client receives a detailed cost estimate. We pride ourselves on staying within budget, and it is very rare for an estimate to change. If a change in the project scope alters the cost, the client will receive a new estimate before additional work is completed.

Q. Are your rates standard for the industry?

Our rates fall within the average for the industry. All design work is completed in-house, we never contract out to other design services.
